Breakfast: Granola

Værnedamsvej 5, 1819 Frederiksberg C

Perfectly brewed coffee should be a right and not a privilege. So it’s nice to find a café that shares my convictions. As well as freshly-brewed coffee, Granola also offers creamy homemade ice-creams, Summerbird chocolates and fresh-fruit smoothies. Open for breakfast, brunch and lunch, this is one of my favorite hang-outs on Værnedamsvej.

Park: Carlsberg J.C. Jacobsens Have

Pasteursvej, 1778 København

Need a break from the hustle and bustle? The city is dotted with secret gardens for those who are in the know. And if you’re not, you could just head straight to J.C. Jacobsens Garden in Carlsberg. Private property since 1848, it was opened to the public in 2009. I love the old English-inspired beauty of this garden. A secret hideaway in the center of the city!

Sneakers: Rezet store

Rådhusstræde 7, st th, 1466 København

I have something of a weakness for sneakers, so much even I'm at Rezet store everyday working as the Content Manager or shopping to expand my collection. Rezet store opened in 2011 by Kasper and Mathias, the store offers a massive selection of sneakers, caps, backpacks and other streetwear items in a handmade minimalistic interior.

Pub: Dyrehaven

Sønder Boulevard 72, 1720 København

Dyrehaven roughly translates as the Deer Garden. Everything from the wood paneling around the bar to the nicotine-stained paintings serve as a reminder of times gone by and add to the atmosphere of this local hangout. Be sure to try the veal fricassee if it's on the menu. And on a sunny afternoon, few things come close to a pint of Danish Hancock lager at one of the outdoor tables.
